About This Project

This site supports a workshop on Using Weblogs in Language Learning Classes, being presented at the 2006 JALT national conference in Kitakyushu, Japan on November 2nd.

Golden Dragon teaches EFL at Fuzadami University, Japan, and has his students make blogs in an English writing class. He loves reading and writing, and took to the Internet like a duck to water. However, he is not an expert computer user, and thinks “server logs” might be large bits of wood used by waiters in some obscure restaurant tradition.

Aaron P. Campbell teaches EFL at Kyoto Sangyo University and regularly uses weblogs in his elective courses. He runs his own weblog at e-poche.net and is co-founder of Dekita.org, an organization promoting the open and participatory use of Web technology for language learning.
